Get Informed: The 67th Primetime Emmy Awards

This year’s Primetime Emmy Awards may have been a hot one for celebrities walking the red carpet, but the night was a huge success.

The biggest night in television became the biggest night online. From the second the stars hit the red carpet at the award show, video was already online. Inform partners on our platform had full access to video before the show even started.

Red carpet fashion, acceptance speeches and the inside scoop on what your favorite stars are really thinking — Inform has it all. Take a look at some of the most talked about moments.

Viola Davis takes home the Emmy for Outstanding Actress in a Drama for her role in “How to Get Away with Murder.” Hear her powerful acceptance speech.

Jon Hamm wins his first Emmy for “Mad Men” right as the show comes to an end. Inform partner E! Online talks to him moments after to get his thoughts.

I think Uzo Aduba brought us all to tears in her acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama. She of course plays “Crazy Eyes” in “Orange is the New Black.”

One of the year’s hottest shows is “Empire.” Actress Taraji P. Henson opens up in this exclusive red carpet coverage. Hear what she has to say about getting involved with the big hit show.

A powerful award of the night, “Transparent” star Jeffrey Tambor took home the Emmy for outstanding lead actor in a comedy series — dedicating his award to the transgender community.

Want to get your video featured on Inform? Here are some top tips:

  • Timing: the sooner the better when it comes to getting your video on the Inform platform.
  • The sooner we have the video the faster we can get it featured and on distribution sites.
  • Length: 1 to 2 minutes is prime video length time.
  • Actual video: showing actual video instead of pictures is always preferable. Viewers love to see the actual moment instead of a picture of the moment. In the case of an award show we love to have actual show video.

How we are featuring your video:

  • Featured playlists in the Inform Control Room: Partners have a pre-organized playlist with the best video offering curated by the Inform Entertainment Content Manager.
  • The Inform “Entertainment Top Trending” is a personalized email we send out the night/day of any big event like the Emmy Awards. This goes out to our distribution partners and features the best of the best video from the event.

Inform has coverage of the biggest entertainment events. Look to us for the video you need for your site and the moments you do not want to miss. Inform will keep you informed. NDN is now Inform: Our expanding technology

inform_techBy now you’ve heard the exciting news: NDN, your go-to digital content and monetization partner, is now Inform.

But we’re not just launching a new name. We’re launching a new platform that offers enhanced content personalization and monetization capabilities for publishers and advertisers. Integrating technology from our acquisitions of Reverb Technologies, Mochila, and Inform Technologies, the Inform platform is a continuation of our focus on delivering innovative technology and service offerings that address the most pressing business and operational issues facing today’s digital publishers.

At the heart of Inform’s technology strategy is a predictive and personalized Digital Media Platform which makes digital publishing profitable for publishers and advertisers with 27 million unique viewers and 230 million videos viewed each month. Inform analyzes over 600 million content consumption data points each month across 4,000+ partners, including thousands of the web’s biggest publishers.

Powered by big data, predictive personalization, and editorial insights, our Digital Media Platform encompasses a suite of technology products that help our publishing network more easily serve and monetize content. These products include:

  • Inform Insights – Enables publishers, content producers and advertisers to understand the personal interests of their audiences. These predictive algorithms increase engagement through the identification of content and advertising a visitor is most likely to consume.
  • Inform Wire Match – Dynamically matches AP video recommended by Associated Press editors with related articles on publisher websites, creating a rich multi-format experience for online audiences.
  • Inform Video Match – A VIP WordPress plugin that allows you to seamlessly search and embed relevant videos from our vast library of premium, brand-safe content – during the article creation process. This product significantly streamlines your workflow.
  • Inform Floating Video Player – Inform’s Floating Video player is designed to increase audience engagement by ensuring market leading viewability of video content on any publisher website, by following the user throughout the page. The technology enables media organizations to deliver a better audience experience while meeting the specifications of the advertising industry.

These latest technology offerings were born from our acquisitions of Mochila, Reverb Technologies, and Inform. The Mochila technology is the engine for the new Inform Video Match, allowing it to easily match content from Inform’s vast video library to related text included in articles. Technology from the Inform acquisition enables the ability to serve new kinds of content beyond video. Finally, Reverb’s solutions will serve as the foundation for delivering richer content personalization for both products, especially across mobile devices and platforms.

We hope you’re as excited as we are about what Inform is doing and will do. You can stay up-to-date with the latest on Inform products by following us on Twitter, liking us on Facebook, and subscribing to our blog.

How Content Creators Win as NDN Becomes Inform

Screen Shot 2015-09-22 at 2.20.29 PMEarlier today, our CEO Greg Peters announced that NDN, the company you have come to rely on to extend the monetization of your premium video, is now Inform. So what does that mean for our valued Content Creators?

To start, you’ll continue to be a part of the largest digital network for local news to ever exist.  You’ll continue to have the opportunity to reach new audiences and monetize your content across our publisher network consisting of thousands of the web’s biggest publishers.  And you’ll continue to see high-quality advertisers aligned with your premium content.

But what the Inform launch also means is that our technology and services are expanding to drive even more revenue opportunities.  For instance, we recently introduced Inform Video Match, a WordPress VIP plugin that makes it easier for our partners that use WordPress to include your video in their stories.  It provides simple search and discovery of your content so it can be easily added to our partner websites.

We also recently introduced the Inform Floating Video Player that provides a superior showcasing of your quality content while readers scroll down a story that includes the Inform video player.  This feature is designed to increase our player’s viewability scores, a priority for our advertising partners to ensure their ads are seen by our valuable audience.  Better viewability means better revenue that is earned for your video content.

These new products are just the beginning of the new Inform. We are committed to supporting your digital publishing efforts in a way that makes it easier for you to drive as much value for your investment in unique digital content.

InformLogo_advertisersExciting news! Earlier today, our CEO Greg Peters announced that NDN, the company you have come to rely on for exclusive premium, brand-safe video content and monetization technology is now Inform. But what does that mean for you as our advertising partners?
